Three New Hampshire High School Football Championships to be Decided Saturday

A couple of newcomers highlights this weekend's three New Hampshire state championship games.

First, there's Windham, which in just its second year of varsity football, playing for a Division V championship.  Windham (8-2) will play 2010 runner-up and unbeaten St. Thomas Aquinas tomorrow in Dover.

St. Thomas Aquinas (10-0), which is also seeking its first state title, beat Windham 48-20 during the regular season.

In the Division VI title game, playoff newbie Epping-Newmarket takes-on Inter-Lakes in Merideth.  This is the first year that the Blue Devils (8-2) have won more than four games in a season.  Epping-Newmarket has only given-up 55 points this season with five shutouts.

Inter-Lakes (10-0) will be trying to win the school's second state title.  The Lakers won the 2009 Division VI title, and beat the Blue Devils 3-0 during their regular season match-up.

From the championship newbies to a couple of teams that grabbed gold back in 2009.

In the Division IV championship game, top-seeded and unbeaten Trinity (10-0) takes-on Plymouth (9-1).  Trinity won the Division V championship in '09, while Plymouth captured the 2009 Division IV title, which was its fifth straight.

Tomorrow's Division IV title game will be played in Manchester.
