Pelham Wins First New Hampshire High School Football Title

Pelham captured its first-ever New Hampshire Divison V high school football championship with a 21-7 win over Gilford Saturday. It was also the Pythons first undefeated season.

Exeter Wins New Hampshire Division II Title


Exeter is New Hampshire's Division II high school football champ after beating Bishop Guertin Saturday 14-13. Bishop Guertin was going after its fourth straight championship.

Exeter won the game when Brett McAllister scored on a 3-yard run with 2:33 to play in the game.

Pinkerton Academy Exacts Revenge on Nashua South and Gains New Hampshire Three-Peat


Pinkerton Academy captured the New Hampshire Division I high school football championship on Saturday beating Nashua South 14-2. The win by the three-time champs came just a couple of weeks after losing to South 30-7 in the regular season finale for both schools.

The Pinkerton defense shutdown the South Purple Panthers running back tandem of Billy Ferriter and David Zocco, both of whom rushed for over 1,000 yards this year. South was held to just 74-yards on 35 carries.

Pinkerton Academy Goes After Three-Peat in New Hampshire


Pinkerton Academy will go after its third straight Division I New Hampshire high school football championship Saturday when it plays Nashua South.

The Astros, who will be making their fourth straight appearance in the state final, are considered the underdog. Just two weeks ago in Derry, Nashua South beat the two-time defending state champs 30-7.
